I designed Vicky a corner table that I cut out on our CNC PlasmaCAM table at work.

I picked up a crashed RC Helicopter and got the bird flying again. It required a complete tear down and build up.

The YETI is a concept proof project we are designing at work. The intent is to showcase the mechanical abilities of the CNC machines I do the marketing for.

The mother of all Potato Cannons. This one sports metered propane injection!

UPDATE: My pal from work, Rex has an electric, auto arming and priming rig ready to install.

This seemed easy, but it wasn't. Building a dirtbike from the crate is harder that one might think.

Update: upgrades and mods!

This baby is my first ground-up buld. All the best hop-ups make this the ultimate Traxxas REVO. Bigger engine, stiffer shocks and titanium goodies made for one burly rig.

My first try at a custom remote control gas (nitro) powered car. It started out as a stock Revo 2.5R.

Five Months

Every day with her is better than the last. Sometimes I could swear that she is bigger in the morning after I wake up. Ok, now if she could just grow some hair!!!

New Ride - R1200GS Adventure

If an army Humm-Vee and a Harley got together and had a bastard kid, this would be it. It's the truly go anywhere bike.

100,000 Foot Ride

My buddy Kevin and I are leaving today for Denver to join the 100,000 foot ride. It will take us more than 500 miles through the Colorado mountains and over numerous passes. We will do all this in one day. During the ride, we ascend and descend over one-hundred-thousand vertical feet...hence the name.

I'll take many photos, so check back in a few days to see the ride photos. Apparently, this kind of ride is unattainable any where else in the world.

Front Yard Concert 4 Vicky

My buddy Chris and I were at the bar on Friday and met a young solo performer. He had the whole bar singing and participating. Chris says to me, 'I bet Gwen (his wife) would really like him'. So I had a beer-fed idea to approach him to surprise Vicky, Gwen and all our visitors in the morning and serenade them with a couple of songs.

He showed up despite being approached by a couple of drunk clowns. And, he was awesome! I can't even imagine what it takes to walk up to a strangers house at nine in the morning and sing to a small group with no support or drumline or anything!

Look Patrick up. He performs at Park East Bar & Eatery on Thursday evenings.

He writes and performs his own stuff along with popular covers. What an amazing talent!

3rd Wedding Anniversary

Vicky and I had our third wedding anniversary and went out do dinner at Pueblo's Chop House. This is the HUGE cheese cake we had for desert. I love the little hearts in the sauce!

Thanks Vic for trusting me with your future and for the addition of Eavane to our little family! I truly can't imagine discovering these 'firsts' with anyone else! It's been quite a ride so far!

Taming the Dragon at Deals Gap, North Carolina

I got the chance to ride the dragon's tail at Deals Gap. 311 turns in 11 miles. For a motorcyclist, it's one of the rides that has to be done. I rode it on a rental Harley-Davidson Road King Classic.
